MJC MODERN DANCE

An exciting concert, ELYSIUM waits upon us this February the 28th 2008! Be sure to catch our debut concert as it will definitely be worth the wait. Many dance items have been lined up just for you! So be sure to get your tickets today!

The MJC Dance Society has been practicing very hard for this concert since the closing year of 2007. Altogether there will be 8 items put up by MJC Dance Society. These 8 dances include 2 items choreographed by two of our dance choreographers, Ms Wee and Mr Zaki. Be dazzled away by our opening dance choreographed by Mr Zaki which will leave you wanting for more. Next up in line will be 6 dances choreographed by our very own MJC dancers. These 6 dances comprise 6 different genres. From the stylistic acts of ballet and contemporary to upbeat and funky moves of hip hop and locking. We have also explored and swung into action with new genres like Latin jazz cum MTV, and Mongolian dance. Hold up! Not only that, we are also bringing in special appearances from wonderful performers like O School, NUS Dance Ensemble, MJC Dance Alumni, Malay Cultural Society, TPJC Dance Society and so much more! Lastly, we will be closing the show with an exciting and fun piece choreographed by Ms Wee. Be sure not to miss out on this new and electrifying concert. We hope to see you there!!!
